【新橋】【バー】ロイヤルハウスホールド

新橋のバーで味わうウイスキー、ロイヤルハウスホールド。
1897年、英国皇太子（後のエドワード7世）の依頼により誕生した、かつての王室専用ブレンデッドウイスキーとされています。世界で3箇所でしか味わえないと伝えられ、その1つが日本。
昭和天皇が皇太子時代に英国を訪れた際、英王室から贈られたことがきっかけで、日本での販売が特別に許可されたと伝えられています。
ダルウィニーを核に、45種類以上の原酒をブレンド。1993年までロイヤル・ワラント（王室御用達）を授かっていた歴史を持ち、以降、元来の風味を持つボトルは生産されていません。
公式ノートでは「繊細で気品漂う風格に溢れたスコッチ」と表現されています。

A blended whisky created in 1897 at the request of the British Prince of Wales, later Edward VII.
Once reserved for the royal household, Royal Household is said to be available in only three places worldwide, one of them Japan.
Sales in Japan were specially permitted after the gift presented to Japan's Crown Prince during a visit to Britain.
Built around Dalwhinnie with over 45 component whiskies, it held the Royal Warrant until 1993, and bottles with the original character are no longer produced.
